Excellent idea. I can already think of plenty of uses!

Thanks for your feedback, Dave. Other shapes and scales are already in preparation...

Tolle Idee und eine echte Hilfe bei größeren Flächen. Wobei auch bei kleinen Ecken, sehe ich eine Anwendung (hätte mir Zeit erspart 😉 ) Zombie WIP pics | Album by heavensgate (1:35)
How big are the plates?

Vielen Dank, Jonns. Die Segmente sind ca. 51x63mm groß. Wären die Segmente zu groß, dann könnte es beim nachträglichen "Wellen einbauen" zu einem Verzug kommen. Sind die Segmente kleiner, passiert da nichts. PS. Tolles Zombie-Dio übrigens...

Could this be produced in say largish hexigons..

If it could.. then I think you couldn't make enough to meet the demand

Hi Till!
Taking Augie's comment a step further. Is it possible to produce this idea as Tarmac???
If so I'd be interested in it, I have been making my own...
But this limits my time model Ferrari building and I have too many kits still to build, to
even think of being distracted elsewhere in modelling something else;)

@Augie: Thanks for your reply. Other shapes, kind of stones/pavers won´t be a problem. Hexagonal is no problem. We plan those in 1/35scale anyway. Which scale do you mean?

@Steve: Thank you for your reply and comments. What we might do is to find a surface which is similar to tarmac. But in original material of pavers is usually concrete?! I don´t know a variant of pavers out of tarmac?! Could you help me to understand?

Excellent, does it come in convensional brick building layout-staggered rather than zig-zag?

Hi Till 🙂

I was thinking for 1:48, if you can do hex patterns.. or larger block sizes like [img1]

Then I will buying this by the foot..

Till, out of curiosity do you have any pricing guides?

I would have a strong interest if you did a set of Flexyway bricks in 1/72.

@Alistair: Yes, it is planned. So it could be used for brick walls (just remove some bricks anywhere in the segment and you have a realistic hole in the wall - perhaps to drive with a tank through the wall; the hole can be easily adapt to the vehicle...).

@Augie: These shapes won´t be a problem to make. But I´m asking myself if it would be needed to make it as segment flexible?! Do airfields have an uneven surface?

We only sell B2B, but we have dealers in many countries. You find the complete list here: juweela.de/de/haendler.html

@Daniel: Thanks for link. It is very helpful. We will think about developing items like those.

@Robbie: Yes, development of that is nearly completed. First it will be the same shape as shown above. Brick walls for 1/72 for absolutely individual use (with removable bricks one by one) is no problem. - 1/72 was my favourite scale when I was a child - so you can be sure, that we will do something more for this scale...

Till,

The flexibility is useful for slight un-evenness in the surface but more importantly it gives small gaps between the bricks to allow placement of grasses etc.. without having to drill holes

Album info

Juweela starts in 2015 with the first item of a complete new range and product line – with complete new, creative and individual possibilities – together with an easy usage: FLEXYWAY!

Flexyway are separate bricks/pavers/plates… which are already built. Undersided with a carrier material being pliable. The joints between the stones are continuous (no binding of the stones together) – therefore the whole is flexible and segments can be used as endless space without visible joints between segment to segment. Paver joints can be filled with a special material (we have also developed for this purpose) to be put into joints. Together with a fog of water material will become hard.
To create some destructions into segment: Simply remove some bricks/stones or press them down.

Flexyway enables a fast and simply usage (also for beginners): Trace grooves in the plaster; holes/crates/damages; individual walls with single missing bricks … BRIEFLY: The optics of a realistically built surface with realistic material (ceram
