Manston, February 1942, Operation Fuller - 'The Channel Dash' One of the most courageous actions underaken in aviation history. 6 obsolete Swordfish attacking the largest flotilla of major German warships gathered in WW2. Out of 60 escorting aircraft expected only about 10 turned up and yet they pursued their attack. All aircraft shot down, most of the crew dead and a VC awarded. RIP. Trumpeter 1/32 scale.
