Very nice kit. On the pics the gun is finally better to see, than on a Smartphone. Is it an What-if Version?

Thanks boys! At least of one Cannon has been photographed. But i can only find one picture for evidence... 😉

Thx mate! I just build it past weekend in the afternoons - unbelievable isnt it?😄

it's funny how some models can come together quick but still look great, you must feel pretty satisfied 🙂
anyhow, all you have left to do is the rest of the diorama 😉 😄 😄 😄
btw, it kinda looks like something out of Star Wars, the cannon tips remind me of the turret guns from the Millennium Falcon 😄

Great weapon, would have been a big Punch ! I like the little detail (the horseshoe on the shield). Looking good gun 🙂
8 May 2017, 09:27

Oh, by the way: I heard long time ago that such horseshoes normally were mounted with the open end on top : to keep the good luck inside ...
8 May 2017, 09:31

Well done my friend!😄 Andreas is right, Horseshoes had the open end up to catch the luck like a glas of good wine😄😄😄
8 May 2017, 09:42

Choppy, it was crystal clear that you spin a line to Star Wars!🙂
Andreas, thx very much! The horseshoe came from old Voyager set and i didnt knew that with open end on top but it makes sense! 😄

looking good, how is the quality of these kits? Have a few myself, but haven't had the time to start these...
8 May 2017, 09:48

Hi Bart, thank you!🙂 Well lets say these kits are "ambitious"... A lot of sanding is requiert. I spottet no bubbles but some parts where not fully molded. If you have nothing else to do, and you are a bit masochistic - try one! 😉😄
8 May 2017, 09:54

Not surprising really given how many WW2 kits went into build the space ships on star wars haha 😄
Anyhow, I reckon the horse shoe still works as that thing was clearly bad luck for the enemy 😄

Thanks Stephan! was a lot of work but rewarding in the end. Actually i´m sure that i never buy it again. 😉

Wow Holger .....one weekend? If i had build it in this time it would not be so very nice!Top work ,Mate.Great chipping.
But the Guns would fit also nice on a Mech (i got a new project 🙂

Holger - thanks a lot for your wishes !! Oughhhh, I don't think I am 50... (inside it feels more like I am 30 years)
8 May 2017, 19:23

an ill fitting kit... lot's of sanding... pieces not completely molded and in need of attention... one weekend... Only one person who can manage, our Holly! Top job mate! 👍

Oh thank you so much mates!!!!!!!!! In the very first minutes of this build, i thought this will be the next model for the shelf of Doom. But then the wish arose to finish it. This model and this weekend afternoons gave me my modeling Mojo back. And i am very grateful for this. 😄

Good that you're back in the saddle Holy and by the way, an incredible nice and fine work you did 👍
Cheers, Christian

Pretty cool, Holger. The reason for this perfect build lies in Jever beer. Don't mind what other people say. 😉
