Tom АвторThank you! 🙂. In the feature in the ModellFan magazine one can see that i broke the whole fuselage (with a big Bosch driller. this was HUGE s***). when i can find the picture, i will show it. So no model is ever really lost. call it restoration ...

And yes, it would be great to have more (and better) kits of these amazing experimental machines -- not much out there besides the X-1 and X-15...

X-3 models are a real rare species in any scale. And so it takes a lot of effort and again more time to make them visible. I finished this little replica in 2012. It took 130 hrs to build and i think about the same time for research. Only two decals (X-3) are from planets kit.
