Thank you! 🙂. In the feature in the ModellFan magazine one can see that i broke the whole fuselage (with a big Bosch driller. this was HUGE s***). when i can find the picture, i will show it. So no model is ever really lost. call it restoration ...

Very nicely done indeed, and nicely presented. I would love to see more pictures.
And yes, it would be great to have more (and better) kits of these amazing experimental machines -- not much out there besides the X-1 and X-15...

And excellent photography too - It´s all done so well it´s really hard to guess the scale from the pics - first, one needs to determine if it´s actually a model 🙂

X-3 models are a real rare species in any scale. And so it takes a lot of effort and again more time to make them visible. I finished this little replica in 2012. It took 130 hrs to build and i think about the same time for research. Only two decals (X-3) are from planets kit.
