Thanks sir! I have the road wheels painted now. I'm just waiting for the fruli tracks to arrive so I can finish it and dust it up!

simply stunning Nathan. a great piece of work!! there is only one thing missing.... this beauty is asking for a small base, simple, to draw even more attention to it.

Hey Nat, you have created some interest with this build! James' comment is 100% correct, you have made a 1 colour paint job take on depth and great visual interest. I have built a lot of armour and have never managed to turn thin plastic into thick, cold, tempered steel. You have with this Desert Panzer. Congratulations on setting the bar a little higher. One thing that I suffer from is Scalemates envy, I see a fellow Scalemate complete a build in a genre I haven't tried and the fire is lit! I might just slide a tank back into the list of priorities.

i fully agree with Peter... i got some Panther that could make use of the techniques used in this beautiful PIV

Wow guys, thanks so much for your kind words and comments! I'm always inspired by your works as well and really have learned a lot by looking at your builds the past two years since I got back into the hobby. This is the first time I've done a WWII light desert type build. Preshading helped a lot as well as the chipping pass I did with torn up kitxhing sponge. I've never tried the hairspray technique yet. Oil washes and a little pastel dust really helped finish this off. Again thanks so much for stopping by! Onto the next build!
