I haven't done WIP references except on the two large trumpeter Tank builds. Im hoping to complete the 1/16 scale king tiger at the weekend so will post some further stuff next week if all goes to plan. Thanks again for your words of encouragement. Greatly appreciated.

Fantastic work. You used a lot of hairspray and OPR techniques, right?

How did you create the shiny worn metal effect? pencil?or maybe some kind of aftermarket product?

No hairspray. I used mig heavy chipping and worn effects. The shiny steel effect is a gunmetal pigment. Just run it on with your finger.

Oil Paint Rendering as introduced by Mike Rinaldi. He wrote a few very good books about weathering and basically uses oil paint for all the weathering effects ranging from chips to filters to dirt to everything else. I personally found it quite inspiring, even for my usual aircraft modelling.

Great thanks, I'll look it up. But no it's all acrylic and pigments with a little oil based streaking and pin lining
