Hi Holger,no not exactly, this one here is a complete ship kit from Pontos. The kit has a quite staggering amount of PE parts

A complete kit by Pontos? Jaw dropping! So you need tons of superglue!😉

One question: Do you solder or glue the etch? Or mix both up? This is a project right for my taste!

@Holger, mostly CA cement. The superstructure doesnt have bear any stress other than the radar tower, so it's completely fine using only glues to secure the whole thing.

Album info
Just took a liking to research vessels and survey ships. Partly due to their various eye-catching meteorology instruments fitted to the decks. I started building this ship in a quite unorthodox way of building her bridge first. The wheelhouse features a quite detailed photo-etch interior, has all bells and whitles like engine telegraphs, pelorus, and binnacles. I illuminated the wheelhouse using a small LED lamp to make the interior more visible from the outside.
