I had to reconstruct the nose and I added a lot of details that ended up getting enclosed. Originally, I wanted the nose in the down position, but the kit engineering just didn't allow for that to work well. Surprisingly, it didn't take me that long to build, but maybe that was because I was so excited about having a Concord in my collection. Oliver, I hope you can get this kit again some day, but be warned; they're really big and take up a lot of space. Knowing you, you'd probably want to make some really cool diorama that would fill up the whole room. I hope you have a lot of space because I'd love to see what you could do with it.

@DerMattes I made a frame for it and have it hanging on my wall with the rest of my 1:72 scale collection. It's huge in comparison to everything else and looks pretty good.

Looks beautiful. I still fight an uphill battle with my Revell 1:144 one. Yours being Heller moulds I suppose building it was more straightforward. Good, that you kept the nose up. Looks better that way. 🙂

Thanks guys. The nose on this kit has a lot of issues. I scratch built the inside of the nose floor and kept it in the up position because the engineering was very poor. Other than that the kit is great and went together quickly.
