Jasper Breur АвторThank you Philipp! I wouldn't be surprised if this is the first model of this vehicle in 1:35, if not the first one at all. A 3D printer has been the best invesment I have made in years, it is a fantastic addition to my modelling arsenal. I would suggest to learn to make 3D drawings before getting a printer though, as you'll have to design everything yourself.

Philipp KnobelI would love to see more such niche models available. Yet having a 3D printer at hand might solve such problems. I started thinking about a 3D printer, after being unable to find figures having the pose I think would fit the diorama. Again, I didn't really start looking into anything related to 3D printers/modeling yet, so this certainly has to come first.
Can we expect more of these wonderful niche models going forward from you?

Jasper Breur АвторThe limit to using a 3D printer for modelling is your design skills. Something like this model is about as difficult as I can manage, but you keep learning. A year ago I would never have been able to design something like this. I am thinking of going serious with the 3D printing part, and upgrade to a bigger printer. That would remove the size constraint I currently have. I certainly have plans for more conversions, but not much on this big of a scale. Some YPR-765 conversions, a Tpz Fuchs and a couple of DAF trucks for a friend. Lots of drawing to do in the near future!
