The problem is Fujimi did them in two halves upper and underside.
So you first have to glue them together and fill the gap.

The Display bases still haven't arrived from Uk by nearly 4 weeks now...Arghh F+ck that Brexit, Johnson and that Farage son of ...beep! 🙂

Very thick and kinda milky. ..Future should help reducing that effect.

I have one question regarding your pre-shading. It looks like you used different green tones this time, which looked really interesting.
It is hard to see on the pictures, is there a visible difference/advantage to the black and white pre-shading?

There is a big advantage to the black and white!
The problem is that the camera used a brilliance filter that swallows
Nearly all variations! iphone only😉
I will try to make pics under natural light when the zuiun is finished!
In real life the different shades and spots on the surface are much better visible!

@Cuajete a colleague does 3d printing stuff and made some Kurogane Cars .
They are a little too big and windowas are intransparent but they are very well done, and some color given it will look even better. 🙂

@Cuajete It is really bad that they are out of production, only very few are left in storages somewhere.
That is the reason i orderes them as a 3d print. Will paint the one here soon.

@White Glint I tried it today but the light was not perfect and the filter of the cam always tries to smooth colors down. See last pic

Yes, cameras can be a bit nasty from time to time. Still, what I can see is a very nice transition between the different green tones.
I'll definitely give this technique a try on my Grace or Dinah. 👍
