Charlie Spitfirei ones flue in one of these in a flight simulator it was fun to fly but had limited vision out the side and behind i only flue it once because i could not see enough to fly properly very cramped in the cockpit

Guy Rump АвторThe cockpit is now complete and ready to go into the fuselage. The wings and the middle underside have been prepared using AMT-1 Light Grey Brown. The blue used is AMT-7 blue (both Vallejo Model Air) 🙂

Guy Rump АвторThe top of the fuselage has now been painted with Vallejo Model Air AMT-12 Dark Grey, AMT-1 Light Grey Brown and AMT-4 Cam. Green. 🙂

Neil PatrickVery nice work Guy. I don't know why, I always thought this kit was a reboxed Italeri tool, but checking, I now see I was wrong. So I assume the usual Tamiya crispness and precision fit?

@Neil, in the main, all the parts fit together quite well. There was little or no flash.
The undercarriage and armaments have now been added. 🙂

Mykhlik Vasily Ilich's war was as a member of the 566th assault aviation regiment, a part of the 277th Air Division of the 13th Air Army. His roles inluded navigator, wing commander and squadron commander. He carried out 188 sorties. On February 23, 1945, senior lieutenant Mykhlik Vasily Ilich was awarded Hero of the Soviet Union with Order of Lenin and Gold Star medal (No. 5936) for exemplary fulfillment of command duties, courage and heroism.
On Vasily Mykhlik's initiative aircraft of the regiment, the pilots drew a silhouette of the Peter and Paul Fortress with the legend "For Leningrad".
