Aero C-3A

Of all the kits I’m going to build in my Second Childhood project, this is the one I most look forward to building. The 1/72 KP kit was nice for the time (and for someone who didn’t mind using putty) and had a decent cockpit, and a pseudo-civilian marking option in green/blue camo with a civil registration. The windows were done in Krystal Kleer which looked better than the kit parts, even if the interior was painted black to hide the absence of…anything.

So now I get to try again, in a bigger scale, with more accurate colors, and a lot more detail. I’m still a bit dubious about the suggested cabin colors - the only photos I’ve been able to find of an Si-204 cabin looked much brighter, and I certainly hope I can find the correct color, since the cabin looks like a treat, with lots of detail and options to open cabin doors to reveal it all.
