M-30 Howitzer mounted in modified casemate on trophy StuG III.
21 vehicles were produced in the winter of 1942/43.In early 1943 SG-122(A) was replaced by SU-122.

EnsignExpendablFollowing! I'm surprised that nobody makes a kit of this. Although Dragon made a SU-76I, so it won't be long now.

it is the first time I recognized this vehicle. Thanks for sharing on scalemates.
Furthermore you do real modeling, not just glue something together.
That's how I started years ago. Research, corrections etc. and what comes out is unique.
Good to see, that this kind of building is still exists and is giving us something very special.

Last year I found out that more than 50% of the vehicles I would love to build are not available in plastic- in my scale.I started scratchbuilding and found enormous joy in planning a build, researching the subject and building a replica.I have a lot of projects planned and some underway and I intend to keep them coming!
And I found modelling buddies here(in Sofia), that share same interrests and passion.
