I liked the kit too but I struggled with the metal finish with mine. Used the wrong paint 🙂

denne АуторThank you Sir. Bar metal is a pain but sometimes inevitable, like with the Lightning which doesn't look lightningish under a camo or in boregray. Used the wrong paint too in the first round, washed it all down including the decals that were already on and started over. Let's put it that way: It was worth the experience, but not the result😉.

Not a joyful build and the result proves it. Airfix is not to blame, it's a fine kit. So it's all on me. At some point i lost my patience and motivation. But at least I finished the bugger....
