Hey Robert thanks and yep they are excellent - I have the 'Allied cockpits' 3 part set and I have used them on this and a Spitfire with great results, I'm going to save up and get myself the whole set for christmas! 😎

Album info

I keep seeing this kit on the shelf of my friendly local model shop and after enjoying doing the Hawker P1127 I bought one. I then managed to spill almost an entire bottle of MIG extra thin cement over the fuselage halves, so I decided it was either time to forget it or take the hit and buy another one. I did that and I'm documenting my progress here. I never built airfix models as a child (back in the 1970s); I was a total Lego head (although I had loads of the 1:32 and 1:76 figures - I never even knew you could paint them; I think I had a sheltered childhood!) so I am really enjoying the vintage classic kits. I missed out on the Jaguar 420, I hope to pick one up on eBay soon...
