Not perfect but I'm confident with the result. Two more figures will follow to be displayed on a small base.

Mate, you paint better 1:76 figures, than I'll ever paint the 1:35, ones. Great paint job, Christian

Unbelievable, this is 1/76...
Don't try it at home - you may lose your sight!😉

"It's a long way to Tipperary"....... Looking brilliant, Christian ! I could use some sailors in 72 nd, your Tommys inspire me to give it a try maybe......

Thx Mike and yep they did🙂
Nice figures with the link you have sent. Mhhh, I just think about a small diorama with some Sailors and a Oerlikon or Bofors gun🙂

About time somebody made a pom-pom I think. UM make a nice little oerlikon.

Will take a look Mike. Less time at the moment because of the job. I only finished the other two figures during the last two weeks and today it was the first day back on Scalemates just for a short look. I will take a look to all the amazing progress all around later.
Cheers, Christian

Thx Es-haq🙂
Still I have very less time and patience for modelmaking because of a lot of real work to do. But I made some small progress with my Vignette. The base is already started. I use a nice wooden base I have bought at the Heiden Show in October, add a small base plate of Fimo and add a first coat of sand an static grass. I found some small parts of plants from my spare box I used years before when I was with scale 1/35 AFVs. I paint them red to represent them as a small field of poppy. The red seems to be to red, but I will brighten the color once glued in place. I just have ordered some more plants and grass from a shop to bring more nature life to the base.
The figures are finished, I paint two of the soldiers with late war gear in a bright pale green and add a belt, made of lead foil to the Lee Enfield used by the soldier on the right.
More progress soon.

Finished this today. A bit late for Remembrance day, but not that bad, cause it is never to late.

Doesn't matter Stefan, but thx a lot for your kind comment🙂
I will take it with me to our next regular table! Hope to have time next month unlike the last ones I missed due to meeting and a lot of work to do.

Album info
I got this set of figures as gift by W&D last year at SMW in Telford. I did not found a nice base until the last ISSC in Heiden. I already start to clean and base coat the figures for a couple of days and start with detail painting right now.
Long time I paint a figure larger than scale 144 or 350. Not perfect but I like it. Two more will follow and the little base to display the figures in a small scenery.
