Neuling АуторThank you Mirko and Rui! - Why so many dios? I don´t have to work for my living so I can spend much time on my hobby. And mostly I build only small dioramas (while admiring the dedication and discipline of those mates who create large sceneries and battlefields). Also some albums show older builds (not this one: the Panther is brand new) trying out my new camera.

DennisSchön! Bei dem Italeri Panther werden Kindheitserinnerungen wach... Den hatte ich seinerzeit auch. Echt beeindruckend was du daraus gemacht hast und zeigt mal wieder, dass es nicht immer der neueste High-End-Bausatz mit allem verfügbarem Aftermarket-Krempel sein muss..

Neuling АуторThank you Dennis and Roy! - Dennis, ich bringe es nicht übers Herz, meine alten Bausätze liegenzulassen. Und so versuche ich mit List und Tücke und manchen (z.T. von anderen Modellen übriggebliebenen) Fotoätzteilen noch etwas daraus zu machen. Der alte Panther-Bausatz von Italeri war erstaunlicherweise gar nicht mal so schlecht. Aber: beim Biegen der Ketten über die Umlenkrollen sind die Ketten gebrochen (sie waren wohl zu spröde geworden) und es bedurfte einigen Aufwandes, dieses Malheur zu reparieren/kaschieren. Schmutz ist beim Military Modelling fast immer eine Lösung .....

DennisIch sag auch immer: no Kit left behind😉 ich glaube mich zu erinnern, dass der Italeri-Panther sogar ne Motornachbildung und separates Zimmerit hat. Der Bausatz wurde damals von der Fachpresse sehr gelobt... ich bin im Militärmodellbau groß geworden und die Umstellung auf Zivilfahrzeuge ist ne Herausforderung. Das verzeiht echt null Fehler. Sieht man sofort...

Neuling АуторDennis, Deine Erinnerung trügt Dich nicht. Der recht einfach modulierte Motor ist im Modell drin, den Zimmeritbelag habe ich aber weggelassen, weil mir der Panther ohne Verkleidung einfach besser gefällt.
