Bruce HuxtableGreat start on a super figure set. Your faces look deceptively easy, but still well beyond my own humble attempts. Getting rid of joins at bare shoulders is soo difficult to achieve too.

Bobby Thumbs АуторBruce I gave up trying to hide the joins. I'm a paint first guy so trying to touch up after gluing was a pain.

Mike SzwarcI have to admit, though I've painted lots of gaming minis, I've never tried to do a tattoo myself. And at 67, my eyes are bad enough that I can't do any modeling without my trusty optivisor. These days I'm happy if I can get the eyes on a figure to come out the same size.

Bobby Thumbs АуторWeek 6 - visited a local art store and got another crackle medium which worked well. Small victories. Just a few little things to so before calling it done. I may re-visit the tattoo.

Peddinghaus has some 1/35 tattoo decals, that might be an option (peddinghaus-decals.d..oos.html?language=en)

Bobby Thumbs АуторHey Thomas - just did some googling of Peddinghaus - some complaints of decal being too glossy and hard to put on even with a decal solution - have you had any experience with peddinghaus decals?

Thomas EspeHi. No, sorry, I haven't actually used peddinghaus myself, I just got curious if there were some decals for tattoos in 1/35 and found those.

Week 4: started on the figures. I think I improved as I moved along. I think I am still applying the paint too thick. I have been going back with a bit of thinner on the brush to get rid of some paint and to try and get the paint smoother on the skin. Close up the girls look like they got bad skin problems. From afar they look acceptable
