USS Texas (BB-35) - D-Day

This is a scratchbuilt project I began in 1992. I got the ship almost complete during a break between law school and my first job, then didn’t do anything for the next 30 years. Last fall I restarted on the project and began revising the model’s 1945 appearance back into its appearance at D-Day in June 1944. This provided a reason to complete the model, since the Trumpeter 1:700 kit is the final appearance.
