just saw the finished pics. Looking really good.. At the moment I'm busy replacing the mg's by the complete PE ones fram eduard. They should have added them right away...

Brilliant work Mike. I've seen this kit advertised and thought about getting it. The wood looks fantastic. I'd love to see some build photos if possible

Thanks guys, but seriously, this is a model that looks waaaaay harder than it actually is😉 Eduard have done all the hard work, it's mostly just a case of folding and bending. For instance the fuselage, with all of its complex bracing and formers, is mostly one piece that just folds into shape.

the small size is challenging though, and getting those folds sweet and accurate, tricky !!
You've made it very well indeed !!
If they did this one in 1/48th scale I would feel braver 🙂

hey Choppa, your wish has almost been granted: eduard.com/store/Edu..earchparam=stripdown
It's a small one but I agree with Mike, its do-able because of the good engineering from eduard... I also have the Airco DH-2 from Brengun (1:144) and that is something else to assemble....

yeah tempting, it's a plane with charm, had it been the Camel or the Dr1. though😉
my eyes start to swim as it is, at 1/48 I could cope, maybe 😄
But they are jewels when made as well as Mikes 🙂
I'm ever hopeful Eduard do a dogfight double of the Camel & Dr1. in 1/48 Stripdown, that's the one for me 😄

Phantastic work, Mike!👍
By the way: what is your profession? Microsurgery?😉

Marvelous! Looks definitely like a bigger scale. Beautiful paintjob on the wooden parts.
