Hi Neuling, thanks for your comment, personally, I find that the base is not great and will probably redo it

Good job. But with the coloring, I'm not sure if everything is right. I don't really like the colors, apparently the RAF colors are needed here. And apparently there were no stars on the wing from above.

Hi Denis Dogadov, thanks for your comment. I don't agree with you about the red stars on the upper surfaces of this version. The photo you posted is of an older version, a machine delivered directly from the factory with Soviet markings. In this case, the red stars are not present on the upper surfaces.
In the case of the Airacobra Mark I, like the one in my build, the machine comes from 601 RAF Squadron and wore British markings before arriving in the USSR. It was received by the VVS in late 1941/early 1942, the British markings were covered by Soviet ones.

P-39Q-15-BE Serial No. AAF 44-2664 „White 26" Another pictures are taken from scalemodels.ru/modul..p;show=12&min=12

This machine is in its original condition, it has not been repainted to be displayed in the museum.

In the Soviet Air Force, at that time, there should not have been stars on the upper surface of the wing, but there were many exceptions. Of course, without good photos of this particular car, it's hard to say what really happened. I have provided a photo of another aircraft from the 19th Guards Fighter Aviation Regiment of the Russian Air Force. I think the aircraft markings were the same in one regiment.
The photo is taken from here — ava.org.ru/iap/19g.htm

I'm not trying to argue, it's a complicated question.
