I'm starting this new project as part of the AVAM Vietnam Working Group. I'll try to cover all the Century series aircraft throughout the 25th. We're starting with this old Hasegawa kit from the 70s.
Dry assembly is surprisingly good for a 40 year old kit. I keep the panels positive but rivet the surfaces as best I can. Light Vallejo white primer to see errors and we continue working.
With good photos and a bit of scratch work we tried to improve the cockpit. To say that it is austere is an understatement. The ejection seat is a joke and the pilot... well...
Finished planes and approximate positions to see distances, etc... I have to tell you the background of the diorama and how you are going to solve the explosions in the jungle...
