Thanks fellas. I really enjoyed building this kit. I used Tamiya's 1/35 West German Leopard kit and a conversion set from "Mouse House" to depict the Aussie version.

I plan to soon start building a Leopard II in German Army markings. This will be my first non-Australian armour build).

The Leopard II was seriously considered by Australia as a replacement for our Leopard AS1's, however as you probably already know, we ended up going for the refurbished M1's from the US. My personal opinion (from my research anyway) is that the Leopard II is a superior machine to the M1. I don't discount building one as an Aussie 'what-if' one day 🙂
