Did some pre-highlighting, but I could have gone brighter.

Primed with blue-grey and added the decals. Again, I feel like the highlights should have shown through more.

Stopped here because I had to order enamel thinner—didn’t want to stain my whole tank.

After some trial and error with the enamel paints, I ended up with a lightly weathered tank, but I didn’t like the look at all, mostly because I had no idea how to achieve a realistic effect with just a touch of weathering.

So I just went ahead and used this model to try out a variety of different enamels and application techniques.

In the end, I kinda like it?! It looks like a tank from a long-lost crew, but it was a great model to practice weathering on armor.

First 1:35 model.
The goal is to complete it with a diorama (also a first).
