It seems so easy to do... But only with talent! And you don't lack of this ingredient...

Thank You All!
The wood only need for the "rough" after it all turned into resin and detailed further to make a master for moulding. Some small bit togo (ehh... interior and canopy ie.) and I will begin to build. 🙂

Thank You! If everything will fine today I'm finishing the parts and move towards the decals and instructions😉

Nearly finished. As I assembled the prototype (no cleaning, or just for the fitting, no paint or alternation - just to test the modelis buildable or not) I revealed some facts: the overall construction quite simple and the parts fit well: with minor effort I can assemle the plane within an hour. The cockpit ancillaries need extensive revork, as they oversized a bit, and the front cockpit is further back than it should have been. After these modifications I can build it finally😉

That was the initial plan - but that would be a one off. When I decided that I make a small serie from it this changed the scale too - from 1:48 to 1:72. You can't have so much RTV2 and resin in 1:48 to make a serie of it (as a garage kit maker i mean) 🙂

Not that I know about this stuff, I don't. But when you have the basic airframe assembled, before any details like masts, probes, wiresn see if you can find a 3 D scanner in your area and save the file. Two reasons: The file will be scaleable; and the time of affordable 3 D model printing may be close.

O.K. it seems reasonable but then what would be with our hobby then? I know that 3D printer doesn't paint but... :/

What I m sayimg is building a resin kit is virtually passe' as an alternate to injection moulding.

Why make resin copies if 3D become an economic reproduction method? Its. The skill still lies in the master ot in the drawings. Same as today.
