Nice build, excellent weathering! 👍👍 Did you brush or mask the Hinterhalttarnung?

This Hetzer looks great! No reason to downplay your abilities 😉 you are good at this and it's very obvious 🙂 some people can actually learn from you! 👍 Superbly executed weathering!

Thanks mate ! To Jörg, what do you mean by "hinterhalttarnung" ? The ambush camo ? I airbrush it and to do that, I made a lot of smalls rounds with a punch die, it's very time consuming ! The smalls triangles, I cut with a sharp scalpel on a plastic strip differents sizes and then airbrush. And I repeat, I have a lot to learn to yours builds !

@Philippe: Hinterhalttarnung is the german word for ambush camo. 🙂 But anyway you did a hell of a job on this Hetzer. Cutting out the triangles is a good idea, so you can use this template on other models as well.

I while ago I read in some scale modelers magazine about a disc camo stencil by Uschi van der Rosten. Could'nt find it in Scalemates database (I'll try again and add it, if it isn't in there), but Google knows a nice review about it:

@Philippe: Ouch, that's a 403. Better:

Et voila Disc Camo Stencil (Uschi van der Rosten 2002, 1:35) or German Disc Camouflage Set (AK Interactive AK 157, 1:35)
Really nice Hetzer btw. 🙂

Thank Jörg for the html code ! Sometimes I forget them or I miss something. And thank you H K for yours links. Now no excuse with the ambush camo ! I will do a Panther with this camo.

I'd like to do a Ausf. G in "Sennelager" camo -- but first I'll have to build the Ausf. D that I have on my stack ... 🙂

Album info
My very first attempt with a tank kit. Built about 4 years ago, I liked the challenge of the ambush camo (quite a nightmare to do !).
The Tamiya kit is very easy to built, I add some photoetched from Eduard and a barrel from RB Model.
My built is not perfect but I was happy with te result. I have a lot to learn !
