Darf ich Dich nur auf eines hinweisen? Das Stück Gurt das rechts aus dem Zuführerunter und Oberteil heraus ragt, hängt beim Original schlaff runter.
Ist der Kit noch im Handel? Hab mich sooo drin verguckt! Und mir gefällt Dein Finish echt super obwohl ich die Lafette noch nie in Dunkelgelb gesehen habe.

@Mathias: ich hätte zu gern noch die Barbie-Fotos dazu veröffentlicht, aber ich krieg das mit dem Text nicht hin. Allein mit den Bild-Unterschriften ist das nicht zu machen.
@Holger: Danke für den Hinweis, aber wie schon geschrieben: der Gurt ist elastisch, da kann ich bezüglich des Einführstücks nichts machen. Bei der Lafettenfarbe hab ich einfach mal angenommen, dass bei fast 500.000 im II.WK gefertigten MGs auch ein paar mit gelben Lafetten gegeben haben dürfte. Sieht einfach interessanter aus. Der Kit ist m.W. nicht mehr in Produktion, aber wenn Du in der eBucht Deine Netze auswirfst, wirst Du schon einen an Land ziehen.

ja, wenns elastisch ist hilft ankleben wahrscheinlich auch nicht viel, wa? Und wegen der Farbe, vllt hat ja auch der ein oder andere Landser selbst den Pinsel geschwungen und hat selbst für Tarnung gesorgt? Könnte ich mir gut vorstellen! Wir haben unsere 36er ja auch mit Sandfarben angesprüht...😢

Dear fellow modelers,
it is my pleasure to present you a quite unusual model.
It is a german machine gun MG 42 wit a tripod in the so called "men's-barbie" scale 1:6.
The plastic kit comes with two telescope tubes in brass and an ammo belt out of flexible matter. Very sophisticated solution! Acrylic paint did not peel off so far.
Other extra parts are coil springs, metal lugs, and belts of imitation leather. One single decal for the strafing table at the backside of the tripod was also part of the kit.
The whole thing was quite easy to build. All the parts are almost undestructable - but a constrution manual was not there at all! Just a sheet with some views of the finished model and arrows with the part numbers, a desaster!
That's why I assembled the table of the carriage completely wrong at my first attempt. I was lucky that this error was able to be solved without further problems.
I painted the model like usual with Vallejo acrylics. For the burnished metal of the weapon I used black as base color. A
