In the meantime i broke lots of PE parts and had to fix them again. 

 

 

Painting PE parts with acrylics is a difficult story 

 

 

Painting the inside, why? Because... 

... it will be visible. The winch itself consists of >20 PE parts, some of them smaller than 1mm 

 

I'll try to make my own masks this time. 

 

The joint of the rear fuselage part is problematic. More to come... 

 

 

 

Altohugh i used lots of sandpaper, the joint is still visible... not finished 

 

Sh!t the kit fell down from the table and broke at the joint. Used revell contacta+zap CA and the result is like concrete: not grindable with sandpaper 

more sh!t: used dremel to grind the concrete(!) and the heat melted parts of the body. had to use lots of putty to fix it 

his is the 2nd layer of putty. 

Not a bad result for own made masks, could be better though
