Thanx lads (embarrassed).
Don't know yet Choppa, I'm due to do a Zero in an upcoming 48hr VJ tribute build. I am trying to wean myself off Navy flying....honest!

Tim, I am looking at getting this kit, not built Sword model before. You've done a fantastic job and it looks great but what was the kit like as it went together?

Thanks guys...
Regarding the fit Gareth and Pierre, she went together well considering there's no locating pins. There's not much going on inside but you don't see much anyway, undercarriage is a bit rubbish as are the decals (uber-thin), instructions aren't the best either. It's not a kit for the beginner let's say that... But she a great little(!) kit, worth doing if you like different. Cheers lads..

We had one of these in the hangar when I joined 849 Squadron many years ago. The Officers Club had bought it and a Sky Raider too from Flambards theme park. You have done a fantastic job.

Great Job, Tim! Have the kit on my shelf, too. Yours will be a fine reference kit for me, when I start it myself!

Thank you very much gentlemen *embarrased face*!!
Isn't the Gannet there anymore Gareth? It's been a long time since I've been....

Flambards still has the one outside the entrance. They were bloody big things really. As for the one on the squadron. It disappeared years ago. The hydraulics were up and running (for the folding wings) and I had heard they had found an engine somewhere that only had 5 running hours on it. The squadron had to move hangars on the base with the Merlin coming in and it was taken away to I know not where.
