Christian BruerGuido, 1/76 is a common scale in the UK for AFV's, figures etc. and railway models OO gauge. Remember Matchbox AFV kits and figures. They were in scale 1/76 too.

Mike McCabe FörfattareAs Christian says, the range was started originally to complement OO scale railway models and grew from there. In any case with something this size, the difference between 1/72 and 1/76 is very small.

This is a build of a model that I both built the master for and designed the etch brass. In 1:76 the model is just over 30mm but it is possible to fit a lot of detail into that small space.
