Here are some pics of my just finished DFS-194 in 1:72. It`s the PM kit and the only one of this important aircraft I know.

Nice work from that kit Christian – did you vac-form the canopy yourself?

Thank You Mike! The rear part of the canopy was a blister package for cyano glue. Fits perfect! 🙂

Very nice build, but I'm sorry to say that.... As far as I know, this plane was made out of wood ..... And its colour should be cream, as for sailplanes

Thank You Julian! This was exactly what I was waiting for. 🙂 All the models I found on the web were painted in cream or even in pink. While taking a closer look to the few pics of the original plane, I believe that the colour of this one was RLM01. Many planes made out of wood were painted in this colour.

A very well done, particularly for such a small model! I just got through reading "Rocket Fighter" by Mano Ziegler. It took some brave (or fool hearty) men to fly those aircraft.

Rarely seen subject, beautifully built and painted Christian. Something nice and small for inbetween ?! 🙂

@Bill: Many thanks for Your kind words. I know Mano Ziegler`s book very well. The original issue is dated from the 60 th and I have it in my stash for years 🙂
@Hanno: 🙂 Nothing inbetween so far! I only wanted to clean up my workbench for the comming year🙂
