Thank You both! From time to time I like building subs.

Congrats Christian, a beautiful Einbaum this is, what`s this kit like, recommendable?

Very nice one.
Hopefully we´ll be able to see it live at Uplengen in april?

Thanks a lot Mates!
@ Erik: Which Sub is it?
@ Hanno: This kit is great. Revell did their one boxing based on the ICM moldings. So this kit should be around for a good price. I built mine oob and just added the rigging which came from EZ Line . You will not be disappointed when building it 🙂

@Mathias: This is nothing compared to Your marine stuff. I will show it at Uplengen in April... but please be gentle 🙂

Very nice. Usually subs tend o be weathered a lot. This one looks nice and clean like it might have before the war. I like it! Maybe I would have emphasized the "Flutschlitze" in the main deck a bit more.

German Submarines were put through an extensive maintenance after each patrol and the least thing they got was a fresh coat of paint, so until it it was sunk by its own crew in the Black Sea in 1944 it might have very well looked like this several times throughout its career 🙂

I did not mean to say that I find it not weathered enough. I think many of the subs out there are a bit to beaten down. I like this clean look.

Thank You Hanno and Ingmar! Weathering is an endless story... This time I wanted to have it clean and I´m not a big fan of completely worn out models anyway, but that`s only my point of view.
