After long and tough negotiations with my wife and rearranging the most of our basement-stuff, I finally got my own room to enjoy building models. I moved in this room a few days ago and I love it

Moritz, your work area looks great! It's so neat and well-organized; that should be conducive to great modeling. 👍

Great looking work area. Those modular organisers are really good; I have some myself.

Thank you mates, I am glad that you like my small cave.
@Christian: You can check my stash, I linked the single elements. I ordered most of my elements at dersockelshop.de but there are a few more shops which have the hobbyzone modular series in stock. You can also order directly by hobbyzone in poland.
I can fully recommend the modular series.
Cheers

Just installed a new LED Panel, seems to be the right tone of light for figure painting and photos. Looking forward to test it out in the next days

That's a well organized Workbench, Moritz. To have all the colors and tools within reach is priceless. I have to search several drawers and cabinets to find the needed item

You realize that you like the HobbyZone modules exactly as I do.
I first ordered mine directly in Poland, then online via PK-PRO and now I can pick it up directly in Berlin at Battlefield Berlin. You have set up your workspace very well.

@ Michel, please don't be jealous. Your porch view is much better than my basement cave where the sun never shines 😉
@ Andy yes that's the point and the biggest improvement.
@ Markus #hobbyzoneaddicted 😉 the problem for my wallet is that there is a hobbyshop in my street who offers those modules. I am quite happy that there is nearly no room for new modules

Do you have to stay there forever or are you allowed to enter the house too?
13 January 2019, 09:41

Thx mates.
@david
It's a pity that my wife, kids and work are forcing me to leave the cave daily 😉

Great man cave Moritz. I'm currently passing the same process. where did you bought the led panel. Is it white light?
13 January 2019, 13:10

Rui, it's from Amazon. amazon.de/OUBO-Decke..GP7X5GHSGF4FHTJ1BER9
The light tone is called neutral white. Seems like daylight in my eyes. The colors are looking very natural under the Panel
13 January 2019, 14:08

Thanks Moritz,
I think it looks great. But still 50€ plus shipping right?
13 January 2019, 15:17

Yes it's 50€ but no shipping here. Maybe there is an similar offer on the portugese amazon or ebay ?
13 January 2019, 15:25

I'm thinking for the ceiling of my cave, maybe this one:
leroymerlin.pt/Site/..aineis/17931340.aspx
It's also neutral white but 4000 lum?
13 January 2019, 15:46

The 4000 seems to be the light temperature not intensity. It's the same in both panels
13 January 2019, 15:53

Yes, thanks I think you are right. Judging by this INFORMAÇÃO TÉCNICA of this other one:
aki.pt/iluminacao/fo..e60x60cm-p72712.aspx
But this one doesn't say neutral white. My new cave dose not have sun light also so I'm thinking first for the ceiling

beeindruckender arbeitsplatz und noch heftiger ist das modelkit-lager! 😄
3 February 2019, 19:34

Thanks mates, glad you like my cave
@Matthew Dusting is not a big problem, so there is still enough time for painting and building
