My first airplane model since childhood. Back then, all I managed to do was glue the kits together and recreate some airwar scenes with my friend. That was over 20 years ago and I'm pretty impressed in what a few years of growing up, and slowing down can do to your modelling skills.
This Messerschmitt is not entirely accurate, due to couple of misshaps with the Almark decals and a mistake with the wing armament. It's supposed to represent JG2's commander Hennig Strümpell's steed from 1940 and I think it came out pretty good. Best of all, it got me back into the world of warbirds like never before!
