At the remote obsolete French airbase of Rien ne va Plus, near the little Normandy town of Faites-vos-Jeux, a lonely Crusader is living in retirement. One day a visitor arrives.... A shiny freshly painted Mirage, to be readied for a Tiger Meet. Old and new, side by side.

You might want to tie down the tarp, though. In real life, it would have blown away from all those ocean breezes! LOL

The fastidious Crusader mechanic had tied it down. The young Mirage pilot untied it to take a peak in the ancient cockpit. Being a lazy Frenchman (the one exception) he just walked away. That's my revised story! 😄

Very nice Martin👍! It looks fantastic both the 2000 and the Crusader! Great idea too with that dio! 👍

Thank you, my friends. The dio just came out about right. I need a bit more practice at the grass. It's still a bit too bright. Next one will be better.
Lode, I also have the Revell RA-5 Vigilante as detailed as this Crusader, meaning crude, coarse and bad fits. Any ideas for that one? Perhaps as a Buck Danny A-5? But that would need a pristine build....
