I was inspired by the 40 years anniversary Leo 2's so decided to build me a
clean Leo2. The color turned out a bit lighter then expected but I think it's a
kind of elegant. I've also build ones with camo and weathering which masks
a lot of detail so in that case, this one stands out 🙂

Cool. I found a few pictures of the Leopard 40th anniversary edition. Maybe a bit darker but your "Bundeswehr" adaptation is cooler

Beautifully simple paint job. really does bring the detail out. I think that lighter than planned tone is perfect tbh. I have a similar plan for my Leo II Revolution build - currently stalled- but this and some enforced bench time might get that moving again.
