If you're looking for a kit to reinvigorate the mojo I can highly recommend Mengs little Whippet... Give this kit a 9.5 outta 10... It's seriously fun, falls together quickly without fuss, has loads of weathering potential and is top value for the money..!!
Replaced the hooks on the side of the sponsons from the kit with 0.4mm wire... Kit parts are very fine and too tricky for me to clean up at that size with my fat fingers...
Minor filling using Tamiya grey putty diluted with Tamiya Lacquer Thinners down to that of a pin wash... Couple of passes and minor holes and gaps filled... Clean up with the same thinners and a small brus
This has gotta be some kinda record... Build took about 5 nights... I'm usually the slowest modeller taking upwards of 3 months for a tank... Happy weekend ahead with the airbrush..!

Eddy MarshallFörfattare Cheers Villiers... Thanks mate... Yes, Meng opted to go with long edge mitres which can be tricky... But use the roof and hull to ensure the angles are held correctly when bonding is the best approach... I even had to use a .22 Cal shell casing along with a cramp to pull some of the edges together... Bond it bit by bit... Cramp... Pull it round and bond again... It fits well, don't get me wrong, but take your time with it...
