Hi Phil,
merry X mas for you and your family. No, this is not intended to be done for a diorama. But in the past I had some thoughts to build e.g. the base at Hoth to present this together with the Y-Wing I built together with the Millenium Falcon I got in my stash. But because of the dimensions this would likely have I rejected this idea.
