“Young ace of the Luftstreitkräfte, 7 victories. Post war he became an anti-Communist volunteer in the Finnish Civil War and the Polish-Soviet War. Dieter emigrated to the US when the National-Socialist regime came to pass. He went on to serve in WWII in the Pacific (12 kills) befriending ace Alexander Vraciu. MIA in June 1953 somewhere over Transylvania after dropping off a CIA trained resistance team.”
