AT-AT

Bandai's AT-AT in 144th scale. Pretty neat build, everything matches together snugly.

I only had a problem with the plastic Bandai uses for those kits - two of the walker's legs snapped during the final assembly at different places after being painted and weathered. I read of a similar problem while I was doing research before I started the Bandai's AT-ST model and there were warnings not to use specific chemistry on those models. The AT-AT kit looked to be made of a different type of plastic, so I thought I'll be on the safe side here, but apparently not. Now that it is finished I just hope the plastic won't degrade further and the "puppy" won't fall.
