Ju-87R-2 S1+HK 1941

First project after returning to the hobby, first model I have properly painted. I learned quite a lot from it. Particularly I don't like the glossy finish, and I've moved since towards satin. I tried winging painting of the canopy but I'm not really satisfied with how it ended up looking, so I moved to making masks with painting tape. I've also overdone cockpit weathering and so it looks like rescued from a swamp.

Other than that I think it's pretty decent, though I'll probably make another one down the line, applying lessons learned. The broader idea was for it to evolve into a diorama of German airport service with two Ju-87's on stand, hence the plane is configured as landed after a sortie.
