My intepretation of this Tamiya kit. 3rd model completed in my most recent stint in the hobby. Trying to expand techniques each time, used 2-tone brush chipping, dedicated mud and dust effects. Any comments and feedback appreciated!

joker101_np FörfattareAnd with the mud effects and a coat of matte varnish this puppy is done. Pushed myself on this one to try new techniques, two tone chipping, dedicated mud and dust effects from AK. Lessons learned: AK spray can varnish interacts with graphite from a pencil and turns it completely black. I had highlighted all the edges with graphite for a metal effect and the varnish knocked it down completely and left me with some black stains. Had to dry brush gun metal over the edges to get some of that metallic look back. Also it totally lost a fender and headlight from its encounters with enemy tanks and definately not because of a wayward finger. This one was fun to build, usual Tamiya quality, fit was good, minimal cleanup of parts, and really happy with the results.
