Modified Beechcraft D17S (with supercharged P&W Wasp Jr. SC-G), used in Cochran's record-setting flight between Los Angeles and Oakland, CA in July 1937. Her average speed was 203.9 mph, a US Women's National speed record. Cochran flew another Beech D17W to a set an altitude record in 1939.
