This model represents a RC-12G of the 138th MI Company, which operated out of McCoy International Airport in Orlando, Florida. My unit (45th WS) was responsible for meteorological support of the 138th MI Company, so I frequently provided remote aviation weather briefings to their crews via telephone and annually provided an aviation weather safety briefing to them on site. During my tour of duty with the 45th WS, the 138th MI Company provided signals intelligence support for joint agency drug interdiction missions conducted in Latin America.
