Personal interest:
East Germany operated 48 Su-22M4 and 8 Su-22UM-3K strike fighters until the 1989 reunification with Germany. The unified German Air Force operated a few Su-22 aircraft for test and evaluation, but mostly divested of these aircraft. This model represents an East German Su-22M4 equipped for the armed reconnaissance role.
