Ferret Scout Car Mk.2

I’ve so enjoyed building this Airfix 1:35 scale Ferret Scout Car which I’ve completed in that rather unusual white finish, not a winter nor artic camouflage but that as used by the United Nations peacekeeping forces.

The backstory is extremely interesting but equally sad, as this was used in Cyprus to keep the Greek and Turkish nations apart post their 1960 independence from Britain … something the UN continue to do even today 60 years later
