My first build for over three years, having briefly worked on the RAF Hercules fleet I wanted to build this to remind myself of my joy working on this incredible aeroplane!
I bought eduard’a C-130J masks (brilliant quality) and used Xtradecals C-130 walkways (which were awful) and Xtradecals C-130J RAF special decals in addition to the Italeri ones which came with the kit.
The colour: is definitely incorrect- I used Humbrol H80 which is too bright for late RAF Hercs, I’ll be reverting to some darker shades for my next C-130!
