Twenty Do 28 saw service with the Marinefliegergeschwader 5 (MFG 5, German Naval Air Service) from 1972 to 1995 in Kiel-Holtenau. Nicknamed "Bauernadler", the Do 28 was used as liaison aircraft, also for medical or logistic transport, tactical recce, icewatch.
The kit dates from the 70's and met state of the art. The fit was quite well, only the canopy caused little problems.
