this damn thing .............it still needs allot of work but I simply ran out of gas after 2 freaking months!! Learned a helluva allot though...........basic stuff.......good exercise....after this thing I needed a simple tank and a simple diorama......hence the t34/85

man, the instructions with this kit had a serious model killer in the construction of the base mount.......i might be wrong..........but i've looked it over and over.......

I sure learned allot about a whole bunch of stuff putting this thing together.
That?s what gets me about this model making thing of ours??you?ve got to get a handle on a whole bunch of disciplines?figure painting, assembly, clays, washes, scratch building with any number of materials?..air brushing, compressor mechanics, cutting tools, files??..glues, paint brushes, masking, weathering and a bunch of other stuff I?ve probably forgotten???. and now??.for me photography???
This project burnt me out on dioramas for a bit?????..I?m working on a Panther now and need to learn how to paint figures; I figure on 7 figures on or about the PZV. I?ve got a couple of good links for this and it looks like a matter of getting a descent brush that?ll hold a point or edge????and maybe some more magnification?.maybe not, I?ll soon find out
