October 1, 2024Started by building up the repulsor engine and frame and priming them with Mig one-shot Black2
October 1, 2024Base coated the assembly with Metallic Black and picked out details with Metallic Steel and Gunmetal and on the rear parts with Brass. Pipes primed black and base coated Anthracite Grey3

October 1, 2024Sprayed the steering vanes metallic steel so I can chip the paint rather than using the decals8
October 13, 2024All the white parts get a coat of Metallic Steel and then they're glossed to protect them.9
October 13, 2024A couple of coats of White and then I went to work with a sanding stick to scuff them up a bit. Details on the "control panel" picked out with Sky Blue, Red and Light Green.10

October 13, 2024Assembled and mounted on the stand. I haven't quite finished the base yet, I base coated that Sand Brown then hand painted the rocks Portland Stone and started giving those a wash with Agrax Earthshade. Still a bit more to do on that but I needed somewhere to put the assembled bike.13

October 20, 2024Time to finish off the base so did the last of the Agrax Earthshade wash on the rocks.15

October 25, 2024Time for the Scout Trooper. Helmet primed with Light Ghost Grey then a couple of coats of White. Decals then sealed with a Satin topcoat. Visor primed with One-Shot Black then glossed.20
October 25, 2024Main body needed a bit of filling and sanding then primed with One-Shot Black and topcoated with a Matt varnish. Hand painted the handles with Gunmetal and a coat of Gloss varnish on the gloves21

October 27, 2024Time to finish off the Scout Trooper so the lower leg parts are primed and painted as before, the boots are White over Ghost Grey primer and the foot supports Metallic Black and Gunmetal over Black primer. The boot soles are Orange Rust.28

October 27, 2024Grogu in a bag - Grogu is Beige coat with light Brown collar and cuffs. Green is Eau-de-nil "Duck Egg Green" and used the eye decals. Bag and strap are Brown-Green and drybrushed with light brown.34

Next on the bench is the Revell 1:12 version of the speeder bike. I've built the Bandai version so lets see how this compares.
