Revell Speeder Bike

Started by building up the repulsor engine and frame and priming them with Mig one-shot Black 

Base coated the assembly with Metallic Black and picked out details with Metallic Steel and Gunmetal and on the rear parts with Brass. Pipes primed black and base coated Anthracite Grey

Masked off the front steering vanes 

Sprayed the steering vanes metallic steel so I can chip the paint rather than using the decals 

All the white parts get a coat of Metallic Steel and then they're glossed to protect them. 

A couple of coats of White and then I went to work with a sanding stick to scuff them up a bit. Details on the "control panel" picked out with Sky Blue, Red and Light Green.

Assembled and mounted on the stand. I haven't quite finished the base yet, I base coated that Sand Brown then hand painted the rocks Portland Stone and started giving those a wash with Agrax Earthshade. Still a bit more to do on that but I needed somewhere to put the assembled bike.

Time to finish off the base so did the last of the Agrax Earthshade wash on the rocks. 

Painted between the rocks with PVA glue 

Sprinkled on a sandy/pebbly mix from a miniatures basing set 

Once the PVA was dry, I added a few tufts of grass. 

Base complete and the bike put back in position. 

Time for the Scout Trooper. Helmet primed with Light Ghost Grey then a couple of coats of White. Decals then sealed with a Satin topcoat. Visor primed with One-Shot Black then glossed. 

Main body needed a bit of filling and sanding then primed with One-Shot Black and topcoated with a Matt varnish. Hand painted the handles with Gunmetal and a coat of Gloss varnish on the gloves 

Armour bits, primed with Light Ghost Grey and either hand painted with the details or sprayed White . 

Front armour fitted.

Armour for the arms and knees, again primed Light Ghost Grey and sprayed White. Decals added and sealed with a Satin coat.

Time to finish off the Scout Trooper so the lower leg parts are primed and painted as before, the boots are White over Ghost Grey primer and the foot supports Metallic Black and Gunmetal over Black primer. The boot soles are Orange Rust.

You do end up with a horrible seam right down the back of the front seam is minimised. 

Steering parts ready to fit. Black and Metallic Black with Gunmetal details. 

Steering fitted and the Trooper is on the bike. 

Back onto the stand for the last bit of assembly 

Grogu in a bag - Grogu is Beige coat with light Brown collar and cuffs. Green is Eau-de-nil "Duck Egg Green" and used the eye decals. Bag and strap are Brown-Green and drybrushed with light brown. 

Fitted to the Trooper.
